A short drive takes you to Glenburn Tea Estate, Chitra Tea Garden and Orange Valley Tea Garden. Walk the garden paths, stop for a cup of fresh Darjeeling tea and ask about tastings where they are offered.
Best time to visit
The picking seasons, roughly March to June and October to November, are the most interesting times to see a tea garden at work.
