Sittong is often called the Orange Village, and one look at the slopes in winter tells you why. Orange trees cover the hillsides around the village, and from November to January they are heavy with ripe fruit.
Visiting the orchards
Take a slow walk along the orchard paths, chat with the families who grow the oranges and buy a bag straight from the trees. Photographers love the soft winter light on the orange-dotted hills.

Outside the season the orchards are green and peaceful, and still a lovely place for a morning walk.
